Q. Are these the cheapest Mod Chips in the WORLD!!!?
A. We don't know of anyone selling them cheaper!
Q. What will my new PSX mod chip do for me and my PlayStation?
A. Fitting a chip will allow you to play all foreign import black/gold/silver games, including all JAP, USA, HKR, CDR, PAL's as well as your backed up games without the need for disc swapping or resetting.
Q. Do you supply the new STEALTH chips?
A. At present the new stealth chips have yet to be proven to work with all games, so rather than supply a unreliable chip we will wait until a final version of the new code is ready.
Q. Will it work on my machine?
A. The 4 wire 8 pin chips we supply work on ALL the following machines - SCPH 7502, 7501,7002, 7001, 5552, 5551, 5502, 5501, 1002 & 1001. Simply solder 4 wires to the chip and then solder the ends of the 4 wires to the main PCB inside the machine. No disc swapping, resetting or switches needed. It's all explained in the full colour instructions we supply.
Q. Is the chip tested before being sent out?
A. Yes. All chips are verified when programmed by us, they are then individually inserted into a PlayStation with a ZIF socket fitted to it and then tested before dispatch. This ensures we get nil returns but in the unlikely event that you have a problem with one of our chips we will replace it, free of charge.
Q. Are instructions included?
A. Comprehensive full colour instructions are included. These cover all models and are written clearly and simply with the novice in mind.
Q. What if I can't fit it myself?
A. In the UK we have a same day fitting service for �20 which includes return postage by insured next day special delivery.
